This Suzaru Chef's knife is just beautiful and so functional! The black ceramic is really cool and the blade is sharp and stays sharper longer than steel blades. The blade is 8" and is very sharp. It did a great job cutting vegetables and meat so far.
My other knives are Cutco and it seems that I'm always needing an extra chef's knife as my husband and I like to work together in the kitchen - so we bought this as our second knife. I couldn't be happier - it's a great knife!
It comes with a protective sheath and a microfiber cleaning cloth. It would definitely be suitable to give as a gift - it comes in a nice box and the presentation is top notch.
