Review of Expandable 50 Foot Hose Kit by RAAYA - Garden Hose with 4 Layers
I love the color of this hose - this is the first blue one I've ever seen so I had to buy it. All my previous hoses were green and I like fun colors in my garden.
Inside the box were the hose (about 17 feet condensed), a hose hanger and a 8 way nozzle. My package did not have the 6 washers that were advertised - but I have not reached out to the company to ask for them as I have extras in my garage.
My previous expandable hose had plastic fittings that did not do well in the Arizona sun. The Raaya hose has brass fittings. I also like that this hose has a valve at the end so you can open and close it like it's own shutoff valve. Makes it easy when you don't want to walk back to the spigot to turn it off temporarily.
Those hose feels like it's better quality than the previous one I purchased at Home Depot for $40. It says it comes with a one year warranty which is better than the one I bought at Home Depot that had no warranty and could only be returned within 30 days.
It's super convenient to carry around (not heavy like a traditional 50' hose) and stores in a very small space. I can even hide it in a pretty ceramic pot.
As with most expandable hoses this is not meant to be left out in full sun for weeks/months at a time and is not meant for heavy duty use. This is for light to medium duty use for watering plants in the garden.
I received this product at a discount to try and was asked (but not required) to give an honest, unbiased, and fair review. Every product I receive I personally test and use by myself for normal everyday use. My opinion of this product is not influenced in any way by my cost of the product - I am an Amazon shopper just like you and buy a ton of products at full price and judge everything the same....I only post reviews as if I had purchased the item at full price. I was not told what to write or to provide a particular rating - my comments here are my opinion based on my experience.
