I purchased this Shark Audio system to install in my side by side since we like to take it for rides but miss having music.
It comes well packed in the box and the components seem to be good quality for the price. The speakers are heavy (a good indicator or quality usually).
The only downside is you have to make your own mounts (or buy them) as this system only comes with the receiver/amp, cables, controller and speakers. Installation was moderate to hard - so be prepared or hire an installer.
I have not had experience with prolonged use so if the unit does get hot or only lasts 6 months as someone complained it would be too soon for me to know. I will update the review at a later date if needed. So far I'm pleased - for this price it's nice to have sound in the side by side. It's not going to be deep bass or high end sound - but it's great to add music to a motorcycle, ATV, etc.
I received this product at a discount to try and was asked (but not required) to give an honest, unbiased, and fair review. I rely on reviews just as much as you do and detest fake five star reviews. This review is based on my actual use of the product and I will always point out any negative things I can because I believe in transparency.
